”12th fail” A movie based on an IPS officer

“12th Fail,” featuring Vikrant Massey in the lead role, made its theatrical debut on Friday, sharing the opening day with Kangana Ranaut’s aerial action film “Tejas.” According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, “12th Fail” garnered ₹1.1 crore nett on its first day. The film recorded a 9.09 percent occupancy in Hindi-speaking regions and a 6.5 percent occupancy in Kannada-speaking areas. In comparison, Kangana Ranaut’s “Tejas” earned ₹1.25 crore on its opening day, marking a slow start at the box office.

“12th Fail” is a film adaptation of Anurag Pathak’s novel, following the journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The movie stars Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar as the lead protagonists and has been directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
